National Math and Science Initiative Presents Waynesville R-VI With $100,000 Grant

Key military, education and elected leaders, along with some 1,600 students, gathered Friday at Waynesville High School to celebrate a $100,000 grant from the National Math and Science Initiative. Florida Governor Scott Announces Grant Supporting NMSI’s CRP for Military Families

Yesterday, Florida Governor Rick Scott announced additional support for the National Math Science Initiative (NMSI) in Bay and Clay Counties through the Florida Defense Support Task Force Grant Program to help improve student performance for military children. This grant leverages over $10 million already provided for Florida’s military children across the state and works in conjunction with existing Department of Education programs to further support the children of our nation’s military members. Flying High: NMSI CEO Talks Innovative Workforces with Aerospace Industry Association

On Wednesday, NMSI CEO, Matthew Randazzo participated in a panel discussing how to build and maintain an innovative workforce panel at the Aerospace Industries Association (AIA) 71st Annual Spring Board of Governors and Membership Meeting.
